Installing Fonts for Windows XP

Zipped Font

Download the font into a folder you can easily remember.
Use Winzip to extract the font from the file.
Extract the font into c:\windows\fonts
Go to the Start Menu, choose Control Panel.
Double click the Fonts folder.

Unzipped Font

Save the font to c:\windows\fonts
Go to the Start Menu, choose Control Panel.
Double click the Fonts folder.

Installing Fonts for Win 95/98

Download the font into a folder you can easily remember.

Fonts are often zipped files so you need to unzip the file with WinZip.

Go to the Start Menu, choose Settings then Control Panel.

Open the Fonts folder.

Under the File menu select "Install New Font."

A new window appears then navigate to the folder with your font and click OK.
